Hey, I’m Sophia Brown
Sophia Brown was born in the Bronx, New York, into a home filled with family and her grandmother Sofia DeJesus’s daily prayers. When her aunt moved to California and encouraged her mother to follow, the family took a chance on starting over. They left the Bronx for Los Angeles, moving between apartments until Sophia finally got her own room at thirteen.
That first night became a turning point. Sophia prayed for over three hours, making commitments to God that shaped everything after. Growing up between two coasts gave her unique perspective. The Bronx taught her about hustle and community strength. California offered space to grow and explore who she wanted to become.
Sophia finished her education in Los Angeles and works in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Her creative side found expression through dance and painting before she turned to writing. As a mother and wife, she knows the challenge of balancing career, family, and personal growth.
‘Sofia Seeds’ is her first book. Writer Sophia Brown currently lives in California with her family, continuing to write and explore creative projects that reflect her commitment to honest storytelling.
